Just because IWD 2023 is over doesn't mean we stop celebrating women 🙌

In , we are running a programme through our Ye! Chapter to support youth-led agribusinesses to leverage and to enhance their business competitiveness. This programme is organized in collaboration with International Trade Centre's tech sector development team and implemented by our local Anchor Kumasi Hive, as we support agribusinesses to get techy 🤓

Hear from some of the successful women founders in this programme about how it has enhanced their use of digital tools 👇

Ever wondered why Turmeric is a considered an essential ingredient in the world of skincare ? 💬🤔

Tumeric is a member of the ginger family and is commonly used as a spice. However, it has medicinal purposes for the skin.

Tumeric has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
It has a bioactive component called curcumin which is responsible for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Tumeric has several skin enhancing properties. Here’s how;

🌿Natural Glow to Skin
Tumeric is considered to be a potent ingredient for skin lightening and revealing glow. Curcumin reduces dark spots, blemishes and hyperpigmentation.

🌿 Slows Down Skin Ageing
The skin often gets exposed to environmental pollution and UV rays from the sun. This disturbs the natural oil balance, thus causing the skin to lose its elasticity by showing wrinkles, fine lines or age spots.
Its antioxidant properties boosts collagen production and helps with skin elasticity.

🌿Reduces Dark Circles
Dark circles around the eye is a very common skin concern. It usually occurs due to the lack of sleep, hyperpigmentation or even too much screentime. The skin lightening properties of tumeric boosts circulation and minimises the appearance of dark circles and reducing puffiness.
