: Most founders only show the final product. But here’s what both my journalism and PR training and practice has taught me. People don’t fall in love with products, they fall in love with the journey.
So show the process.
▪️The brainstorming that was tiring.
▪️The late-night grind.
▪️The failed prototype.
▪️Your first sale.
▪️The messy desk, not just the glitz for the launch.
Example: is my makeup artist. She and I fight all the time about her going ‘ghost’ on how she gets my dark skin and vitiligo right. She even has a blue colour corrector just for me. I need her to not just post glam looks. She should show herself traveling to source products, dragging heavy suitcases, some of her suitcases weigh 15kg, I kid you not 😂. Her setting up her station from scratch.
You know, the behind-the-scenes grind? That is what gets attention, builds trust. customers, admirers and even investors won’t just see the ‘facebeat’ they see the hustle and can relate to it.
When you document the process, your audience becomes insiders. They root for you, then they buy from you. Thank you big, I will do better 📷 2025 | |

40 Years Around the Sun 🌍✨
Today I turn 40. Four decades of living, learning, falling, rising, loving, losing, and growing. It feels surreal to even type that number — not because I fear age, but because of how much life I’ve packed into these years.
My 20s were about discovery — figuring out who I was, making mistakes, chasing dreams, and learning the hard way.
My 30s brought growth — more responsibility, deeper love, a clearer sense of purpose, and a few humbling life lessons. These lessons draw me closer to Allah.
And now, at 40, I feel grounded. Not perfect, not done, but deeply grateful.
Grateful for the people who’ve walked beside me — some for a season, some for a lifetime.
Grateful for the detours that taught me more than the smooth roads ever could.
Grateful for the strength I didn’t know I had until I had no choice but to find it.
Here’s to embracing the second act — with more wisdom, less fear, and a heart still wide open.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of my journey. You’ve helped shape this story — and I’m just getting started.
