Six years ago, in March 2020, we closed our doors.

Not because Ghana told us to, we closed before the lockdown. We closed because our team's safety mattered more than staying open.

With near-zero revenue and a newborn baby at home, our founder Freda Oa made one decision: every member of staff would continue to be paid.

'They're supporting a whole bunch of people in their families. So not paying them, it trickles down and causes a lot of negative trade-offs in their lives.'

That decision cost us almost everything. And gave us everything.

Six years later, we didn't just survive. We grew through it. Because of our people.
