Is your child struggling with feeding or talking? Have you noticed any hole in the roof of the mouth or even a deformity on the lip. It could be a cleft palate or cleft lip. It is a deformity that occurs when the baby is forming. It can occur if a pregnant woman is deficient in folate.
Tip:Start taking folic acid as early as you can with your pregnancy or better still 3 months before pregnancy.
