NDC PRESIDENTIAL AND GOVERNORSHIP FORMS N60 & N30 MILLION; FEMALE ASPIRANTS TO PAY 50%

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has announced the schedule for the conduct of its primary elections, with presidential aspirants expected to pay N60 million while Governorship aspirants N30,000 million to secure their nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the 2027 general election.

Moses Cleopas in a statement announced that the sale of forms will commence from May 13 to May 18.

The party also advised aspirants to attend the planned screening exercise with their relevant credentials and supporting documents.

Meanwhile, female aspirants and persons living with disability (PWDs) are to pay 50% and 25% of the fees across all categories.

The Presidential primary will hold in Abuja May 29th.

"You are a serving governor whose tenure is ending in the year 2028 yet you are contesting for the senate position come 2027 general election. Which means you want to be a governor and a senator at the same time in Imo State. What a drama??? But you claimed you are fighting injustice in another Man's State. Who is deceiving who??? "Does it mean that there is no one in your senatorial district that is qualified for the senate position? But greed will not allow you to give another person the opportunity to go to the senate. Shame on you and the people who are supporting you, only you want to become senate president."
