Camfed Mastercard Foundation Scholars Give Back to Garden City Special School

On Thursday, September 22, 2023, Camfed Mastercard Foundation scholars visited the Garden City Special School in Kumasi, Ghana, to make a donation of supplies and equipment. The scholars, who are all beneficiaries of Camfed's support, wanted to give back to the community that has helped them to achieve their educational goals.

The donation included sanitary pads, stationery, toiletries, rice, oil, tin tomatoes, and other items. The scholars also donated clothes and shoes to the students.

The donation was received with gratitude by the students and staff of the Garden City Special School. The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Mary Mensah, thanked the scholars for their generosity and said that the donation would make a big difference in the lives of the students.

"We are so grateful for the support of the Camfed Mastercard Foundation scholars," said Mrs. Mensah. "This donation will help us to provide our students with the essential items they need to live healthy and happy lives."

The Camfed Mastercard Foundation scholars are committed to giving back to their communities and helping others to achieve their educational goals. The donation to the Garden City Special School is just one example of the many ways that the scholars are making a difference.
