This is carrot season how are you enjoying your carrots?
This is the time to enjoy all the goodness.
Make smoothies, soap, salad and carrot infused oil etc.

Below is a recipe for carrot infused oil, enjoy.

HOW TO MAKE INFUSED CARROT OIL (SIMPLIFIED METHOD)

we try our very possible best to make every tutorial very easy and understandable, by breaking down the process for easier learning and even to the standard of a layman understanding.

What you'll need

2 large fresh carrot (it must be fresh)

A grater

A siever

A clean bowl

A clean glass jar

Any carrier oil of your choice.(recommended sunflower oil)

Preparation method

1. Wash your carrots thoroughly (use salt while washing)

2 . Grates your carrot (use the smallest size of the grater)

3. Dry your carrots away from the sun, this process is to dehydrate the carrot of it's juice, because infusing wet carrot in any carrier oil will grow mucor fungus.( You can also dice and use dehydrator for drying)

4. When the carrot must have dried up, get your clean glass jar.( You can use mayonnaise bottle)

5. Pour the dried carrot into the glass jar.

6. Pour in your carrier oil of your choice

Note: make sure the oil covers the carrot to the top.

7. Store the jar in a warm place, (preferably beside your window or behind your refrigerator) but if you still store it in a cool dry place, no problem.

8. Allow the infusion process to take place, leave the carrot in the jar for 2-4weeks

Give the mixture a good shake everyday.

9. After 2-4 weeks, dispose the carrots pieces and sieve your oil, using a neat dry sieve.

10. Bottle your carrot oil.
Congratulations your cold pressed carrot oil is ready.

You can use this oil on your skin, add to your soap and Shea butter. It glows the skin.
