Yes it does .

But it’s not a sunscreen.

Using it as a sunscreen won’t do anything to your skin. ( as in do what sunscreen is supposed to do)

The properties in Shea butter that protects the skin from the sun damage is about just 5% maximum.

So using it as a sunscreen isn’t advised . You can apply it but add a sunscreen after.
