Short Cut Unisex Salon II

Well would you believe what happened yesterday.
Not a flooding this time but a fire. The store room where all the meters are caught fire and knocked out all our electrics.
The electricians have done an amazing job to get everyone reconnected by this morning. Everyone except me and the Gallery corridor lights.

I can't believe it, just got flooded out again this time by my own boiler. Only saving grace is I was still here to turn off water to limit the damage. Still most of my stock in the staff room if rather soggy.

Due to major flooding (under a month since the last one) from flats above we will be closed today. Hopefully if all my electrics have dried out I will be open tomorrow.

Happy Workers Day to all the workers out there.
We will be closed until Monday for this worker to have an extra long break 😆.

Hi all, I am hoping to be back in the salon next week Monday 3rd March.
Bone healing well but still lots of pain which the doctor says will last at least another 2 months 🤔. I will have to see what I can and can't do to start so please bare with me. Really looking forward to seeing you all again.

Hi, all went well at the hospital yesterday, X-ray showed all healing really quickly. They have taken off the cast and I now just have a removable brace. They asked if I wanted another cast but I asked if he thought the brace would work just as well and he said yes. At least now I can take it off to shower and if it gets uncomfortable I can loosen it off a bit for while. I have to go back on the 20th and hopefully soon after I can return back to work. Missing all my lovely clients and my salon.

Unfortunately one of my worst fears has happened. I slipped and have broken my arm so I will not be able to work for about 6 weeks. I am devastated as I am going to have to let all my clients down. I am so very sorry for any inconvenience caused to each and every one of you.
