Let’s talk about having hair treatment done at the salon.

We hear a lot of new clients say their hair are not improving even after having the treatment done at the salon.

Through a lot of conversations with the clients, we’ve learned some real root causes of this so we’d like to share below.

The real root cause of why the hair cant be improved after the treatment

Hair treatment is a process to nurture and protect your hair.

When you have your hair colored or permed, the protein from your hair leaks out.

With the hair treatment, it can fill the leaked protein and coat the hair for the protection ( there are some treatment without coating)

Something like hair spa/head spa are all similar in this sense.

The important point here is that hair treatment is a only temporary solution to nourish your hair and it does not recover the damaged hair. 

Your hair is already a dead cell, once it damages, it will not recover just like your nails.
If you want your hair to be recovered, you’ll need to take time and re-grow them.

If you’ve ever had treatment done on your hair,  you might have experienced like:
Oh Ive just had my hair treatment done at the salon a week ago but its all back to before!

This is because the coating of the treatment has already come off.
If the coating comes off, the filled protein will again leak and your hair will go back to step 1.

So you can imagine having hair treatment wont fix the problem from the root so you’d end up with step 1 even if you have the treatment multiple times.

The effective usage of hair treatment is to keep the healthy hair beautiful.

Fixing the damaged hair with treatment itself is a wrong approach and its not going to get your hair to the beautiful hair you’d like.
