It was a pleasure to join the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Synergy, Global Launch” Longhua Enterprise Going Global Service Matching Session 2026 in Shenzhen. We had a professional and insightful exchange with Chinese businesses actively exploring opportunities in overseas markets, and the level of engagement was truly encouraging. Many were keen to understand how we and Allianz Trade can support their international expansion with practical, integrated, and globally connected risk solutions.

Throughout the seminar, discussions focused on the real challenges companies face when going global: from overseas compliance and trade credit risk to financing, liquidity management, and cross-border operational resilience. The exchange reinforced a clear message: as Chinese enterprises accelerate their outbound journey, they are looking not only for insurance products, but also for trusted advisors who understand local ambitions, global market dynamics, and the complexity of managing risk across jurisdictions.

By bringing together Longhua District, Invest Hong Kong, our team, and Allianz Trade, the event created a meaningful platform to connect government support, Hong Kong’s professional services strengths, and international risk management expertise. We are delighted to share that our Chief Executive Officer – Greater China, Alex Yip, will be featured in Commercial Radio Hong Kong’s Sunday afternoon programme, “The Big Sportsman” (“大鐵人”).
In the interview, Alex will share his inspiring sporting journey, from his passion for track and field to competing at the World Masters Athletics in recent years. As a dedicated senior athlete, Alex continues to embrace every challenge with discipline, resilience and determination — qualities that reflect his approach both on and off the track.

Specialising in hurdles and relay events, Alex will also talk about the commitment behind his training, the mindset needed to stay focused, and what keeps him motivated to keep pushing forward.

On 7 June, our Lockton Hong Kong team was honoured to join HKNPIS’ Fearless Dragon Charity Run at the Tseung Kwan O Promenade.

On a beautiful sunny morning, our colleagues, business partners, and clients came together to run alongside disabled athletes and fellow participants across the stunning Tseung Lam Bridge. It was more than just a run — it was a meaningful moment of connection, encouragement, and shared joy.

With over 700 participants of different abilities, the event was a powerful reminder that sport has the ability to unite us, break barriers, and create a community where everyone can take part and thrive. The spirit of “As One” was truly felt in every step.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this special charity event so heartfelt and memorable. We are proud to support initiatives that champion inclusion, empowerment, and the belief that we are stronger when we move forward together.
