今年3月，他再度打破所有人的預期，推出首支個人單曲〈我最討厭的男歌手〉，宣布以歌手身份出道——今年的Tatler Most Stylish聚焦「破格者」，蔡俊彥從世錦賽金牌到樂壇新人的跨界之路，正是對這主題最有力的詮釋。

Not many world champions follow a title-winning year with a pop single—but then, Ryan Choi has never been one for easy categorisation. Our September cover star made history at the 2025 World Fencing Championships, becoming Hong Kong’s first ever men’s foil world champion, before climbing to world No 1—a position he held for eleven months. “I know there are still many people out there who are better than me,” he says. That quiet self-awareness kept him sharp in every match that followed.

In March, he surprised everyone with his debut solo single, “My Most Hated Male Singer”— a move driven purely by his love of singing. “Sometimes, believing you can do something is enough to unlock a side of yourself you never knew existed.” It is that instinct to push beyond what is expected that makes him the definitive rule-breaker of this year’s Tatler Most Stylish.
