We are here to give you all the info and help you might need. The Neighborhood
In our apartment you will get the feeling of local life and a glimpse of socialist architecture in a quiet and safe area that is well connected with public transport. Vukovarska street is a large and long road which was build in the post war socialist era and hosts many interesting buildings. One of the biggest european flea markets is just few tram stops away. There is a little local park in front of your apartment and a small children playground a bit further. Near by is a supermarket, local grocery shop, nice bar, tennis courts, fast food joint, bakery…
Market with fresh vegetables, fish and meat is 10-15 min walk away. Getting Around
Our studio apartment is very near (7 min walk) the main bus station and airport bus terminal, 15 min by tram to the city center, and 10 min to the main train station. Walking distance to the city center is about 20/30 minutes. Tram stations for every part of the city are in front of the building or 5 minutes away. Taxis are cheap in Zagreb, but remember to use only Taxi Cammeo, EcoTaxi or Radio Taxi. Every other cab will probably charge you a 'lost tourist fee'. Other Things to Note
Parking in front of the building costs 3 kn per hour (a bit less than 50 cents) and the one at the back of the building is free. Since this is not tourist area, many locals and their cars are at the seaside during summer months so there is plenty of free parking around.
