Most beginner nail courses start with a brush.
Mine starts with understanding.
Because if all you learn is where to apply the product, you’ll always need someone to tell you what to do next.
I want my students to know why products behave the way they do.
Why nails lift.
Why structure matters.
Why preparation is more important than decoration.
Theory isn’t the boring part of becoming a nail technician.
It’s the part that gives you confidence, helps you solve problems, and turns techniques into skills.
That’s why before my students create beautiful nails, they learn to understand them.
📚 Applications for my Professional Beginner Nail Technician Program open in September.
Classes begin in October and are taught in small groups of a maximum of 6 students, so everyone receives the guidance, corrections, and attention they need to build a strong professional foundation.

P.S. This isn’t the actual lesson. It’s a short preview from the theory module of my online training, created to show future students why professional nail education starts with understanding, not gel application.

Every time someone tells me,
“You’re talented,”
I smile.
Because what they’re really looking at is thousands of hours of practice, hundreds of mistakes, countless trainings, and an obsession with understanding every tiny detail.
I never wanted to be average.
I wanted to build standards that people could rely on.
That’s why I keep learning.
That’s why I keep teaching.
And that’s why I won’t lower the bar just because it’s more comfortable.
The nail industry deserves better.
My students deserve better.
And that’s exactly what I’m working towards every single day.

If I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be this:
Don’t confuse practice with education.
After my beginner course, I genuinely believed that if I practised enough, I would become great.
I thought talent would carry me.
It didn’t.
Practice taught my hands how to repeat the same movements.
Education taught my brain why those movements worked… or why they failed.
That’s the difference.
Sometimes I wonder where I’d be today if I had invested in proper education from the very beginning.
Do I regret it?
Sometimes.
But those mistakes shaped the educator I am today.
Now I can help my students avoid the same years of frustration, build confidence faster, and understand the science behind every technique instead of simply copying what they see.
Because my goal isn’t to create technicians who can follow steps.
It’s to create professionals who understand what they’re doing.
Eszter’s Secret.
Where precision isn’t luck. It’s learned.
Not every student needs the same training.
That’s why every private lesson I teach is built around the individual, not around a fixed program.
Today’s intensive one-day training focused on:
✨ Acrygel application
✨ Glitter ombré
✨ Airbrush ombré
Every technique was chosen because these were the areas my student wanted to improve.
This is the biggest advantage of private education.
We don’t spend time on things you already know. We focus on the skills that will make the biggest difference to your work, correct mistakes immediately, and build confidence through understanding, not guessing.
That’s how real progress happens.

The nail industry doesn’t have a client shortage.
It has a quality shortage.
Every week I meet people who have lost trust after lifting, peeling, broken extensions or poor hygiene.
Those clients aren’t stopping their appointments.
They’re simply looking for someone better.
That’s the opportunity.
Not another trendy colour.
Not another expensive gel.
A technician who understands the fundamentals will always have an advantage over someone who only knows how to copy what they see online.
That’s why I believe education will always outperform shortcuts.

Nobody talks about what really happens when you decide to become a nail technician.
People see the finished nails, the pretty Instagram photos and the flexible working hours.
They don’t see the frustration, the self-doubt, the hours of practice, or the mistakes that make you question whether you’re good enough.
I know, because I’ve been there.
The difference between someone who gives up and someone who builds a successful career isn’t talent.
It’s the decision to keep learning.
If you’re dreaming about becoming a nail technician, don’t look for the fastest course.
Look for the education that will still be helping you years from now.

Last year almost broke me.
After nearly 10 years in the industry, clients suddenly started coming back with lifting, chipping and peeling. Every complaint felt personal. I cried more than I want to admit and seriously considered walking away from nails.
The easiest thing would have been to blame the products.
“The formula is bad.”
“This brand doesn’t work.”
Instead, I chose the harder path.
I started learning everything I could about the TPO changes, product chemistry, adhesion and why the new formulas behave differently.
And then I had to face an uncomfortable truth.
Some of the techniques I’d been using for years weren’t as perfect as I believed. The old formulas were simply more forgiving.
That realization hurt my ego.
But it also made me a better nail technician.
Today my retention is stronger than ever, not because I found a miracle brand, but because I learned to work with the chemistry instead of fighting it.
If you’re constantly changing brands hoping your retention will magically improve…
Stop.
Knowledge will always outperform another bottle on your desk.
Have you blamed a product before finding out it was actually your technique? Let me know in the comments.
Eszter’s Secret. Where precision isn’t luck. It’s learned. Perfect nails are never a coincidence.
People think confidence comes first.
It doesn’t.
Confidence comes from competence.
I learned that the hard way.
I blamed my clients.
I blamed products.
I blamed the market.
I even blamed my own nails.
Until I accepted one uncomfortable truth:
The biggest thing holding me back was my own level of education.
Everything changed when I stopped looking for shortcuts and started investing in knowledge.
That’s why my courses won’t just teach you how to create beautiful nails.
They’ll teach you how to think like a professional, solve problems, build confidence, and create a business that actually lasts.
