On 6 August 2026, Sultan Group had the honour of welcoming a distinguished diplomatic delegation led by His Excellency Macocha Tembele, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Republic of Indonesia, for a high-level strategic business meeting at the PT Indo Sultan Jaya’s headquarters in the Jababeka Industrial Estate, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.

The delegation, joined by His Excellency Tri Yogo Jatmiko, The Honourable Mr Naseem Rashid, and representatives of the Jababeka Board of Directors, was welcomed by Sultan Group CEO Mr Ahmed Sultan and the Group’s Board of Directors.

The meeting celebrated the departure of the first shipment of industrial machinery to Kigoma, Tanzania, marking another important step in PT Indo Sultan Jaya’s expansion into Africa. Together, the partners reaffirmed their shared commitment to industrial development, sustainable investment, stronger Indonesia–Tanzania cooperation, and the long-term vision of Africa’s Agenda 2063.

Indo Sultan Jaya Group was honored to pay a courtesy visit to H.E. Ambassador Macocha Tembele at the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Indonesia. Discussions focused on Africa’s industrialization, value addition within the continent, investment opportunities in Tanzania, and sustainable economic development.

CEO Ahmed Sultan also shared the Group’s commitment to responsible investment, where business growth goes hand in hand with social impact. The meeting further initiated a collaboration to support the training and development of future professionals in the manufacturing and import-export sectors.

Together, building stronger bridges between Indonesia and Tanzania for a more prosperous future.

The agreement was signed by Ahmed Sultan, CEO of PT Indo Sultan Jaya, and the Shiekh Tofik Kadir CEO of TK Group Manufacturing and Trading, witnessed by His Excellency Professor Fekadu Aleka, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Ethiopia to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and ASEAN.
This MoU highlights the power of B2B collaboration in strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Ethiopia. Beyond its commercial value, it reflects a shared commitment to the South-South Cooperation framework, promoting trade, knowledge-sharing, and industrial growth among developing nations.
