Hi everyone! 💕

I just wanted to share a little reminder from a salon owner’s perspective, as we’ve recently experienced this a few times.

We’ve had clients book appointments for services like half foils, full foils, balayage, or hair colouring, but only tell us when they arrive that they’ve just had surgery. Some are still swollen, have stitches, or are still healing.

Unfortunately, for your safety, we may have to refuse or postpone the appointment. We never want anyone to feel disappointed after making the trip to the salon, but your health will always come first.

If you’re planning surgery, my biggest tip is to schedule your hair appointment before your procedure. That way, you can enjoy fresh hair and then focus on recovering without worrying about your next colour appointment.

If you’ve already had surgery and your surgeon has confirmed it’s safe to have your hair done, please let us know before booking. If needed, we may ask for medical clearance so we can look after you safely.

We’re sharing this simply to help avoid disappointment and to make sure everyone has the best experience possible. Thank you for understanding, and wishing everyone a smooth recovery! 💛
