A little backstory about this beautiful bride ✨

is actually one of the wedding planners I’ve worked with over the years. The very first time I met her, I remember saying, “Girl, you’re so pretty… I need to do your makeup someday!” 😂

Ironically, it never really happened because we were both constantly busy with weddings and work.

Until one day, she told me she wanted me to do her bridal makeup for her wedding day. I was honestly screaming inside a little because, as a wedding planner herself, she has worked with so many incredible makeup artists over the years… so yes, the pressure was definitely there haha.

For her special day, we created a radiant bridal look paired with an effortless romantic updo, timeless, elegant, and very her.

Papi Preaches Episode 01: Why Makeup Isn’t Tear Proof

Here’s the truth nobody talks about:
Makeup is water-resistant, sweat-resistant, sometimes even life-resistant… but not always “full emotional breakdown resistant.” 😭

Tears contain salt, oil, and enzymes that can slowly break down makeup, especially when combined with rubbing, heat, and facial movement.

That’s why HOW you cry actually matters more than people think 👀

A few bridal survival tips:
✨ dab, don’t wipe
✨ keep Q-tips in your bridal pouch
✨ absorb tears from the tear duct immediately
✨ avoid rubbing under the eyes
