In scientific this plant known as coix lacryma-jobi, also known as adlay, is a tall grain-bearing perennial tropical plant of the family Poaceae (grass family).

It is native to Southeast Asia but elsewhere is cultivated in gardens as an annual.
It has been naturalized in the southern US and the New World tropics. In its native environment it is grown in higher areas where rice and corn do not grow well.

Other common names include coixseed, tear grass and Yi Yi (Chinese), Job's tears are also commonly sold as Chinese pearl barley in Asian.

There are two main varieties of the species, one wild and one cultivated.

Kapas (dari bahasa Sanskerta karpasa) adalah serathalus yang menyelubungi biji beberapa jenis Gossypium (tanaman kapas), tumbuhan 'semak' yang berasal dari daerah tropika dan subtropika.
Serat kapas menjadi bahan penting dalam industri tekstil. Serat itu dapat dipintal menjadi benang dan ditenun menjadi kain. Produk tekstil dari serat kapas biasa disebut Katun.

It was a thrilled feelings, for the first time I taught and explained two (2) products, a butter lip-balm and a aloevera face gel.
