The divine Yemaya is floating through the water with a silver star fish crown on her head. Gold coins are flowing from her left hand and gold coins and flowers are falling from her body into the water. She is a powerful goddess, representing the ocean and other bodies of water. She traveled with African slaves from Yoruba to distant lands. Comforting them in the holds of the slave ships that took them far away from their homeland in Africa. Yemaya is a mother goddess, the goddess of home, fertility, love, and family. Like water, she represents both change and constancy–bringing forth life, protecting it, and changing it as necessary. It is the goddess Yemaya that is associated with the creation and with life itself.

All of the pictures that I took on my property of a unification festival that my neighbors participated in at Abangan in Tegallalang were my pictures only. I am shocked that someone said I stole them. My landlord owns that land and I had asked for permission first and was given permission.

In one of the peak moments of my life, In Bali, I was in the right place at the right time to witness all of my community of Abang Moding, who were participating in a purification ceremony — people all were going down to a sacred spring at the bottom of the steps that also take you down to a river. They delighted that I was recording this process for them. This particular one delighted me so much because this young woman wearing her traditional Kebaya, sarong and sarong was balances a headpiece that had been lit on fire and was emitting a lot of smoke, and at the same time she was so current, that she was making a V-sign with her two fingers and holding that up to her face while she smiled at me. ,

In her favorite place — nature — she is taking in the splendor of the surrounding waterfall and pool and foliage amongst the rocks where she is resting. These are the places she can sink into and become a part of. Messages from her Divine nature drop in so effortlessly here. She is filled with joy and gratitude. thurium

The embodiment of joy, compassion, open hearted goodness, she is delighted by the light pouring down upon her. Her instrument, the singing bowl, is filled with light and sound frequencies that nurture every cell of your body. You can see every subatomic particle dancing with her as she sways to the rhythm of this flowing waterfall.

She is taking it all in as she sits in the jungle, the pulsing of the insects and animals seem to be orchestrating a primal composition just for her at this sacred moment. It fills her entire head and spills into her body. She notices a special weaving in the tapestry of this place that changes from mundane reality to a malleable, permeable, wavy entrance into another dimension. Through this veil she sees a vision unlike any she has seen before. Contained within it, there are butterflies, dragonflies, hummingbirds, and above it there is a multi-colored eagle watching over the scene. She notices in the center of this vision is a woven mandala of the ayawaska plant surrounded by sheer golden wings with a golden-white lotus on top. To the right a tiny Goddess is gesturing to her to go there. This one sacred moment will never be exactly like this again. She feels blessed in every particle/wave of her Being.

She pauses, Becoming one with the thrum of the various hummingbirds that surround her head and shoulders. Messages are contained within the frequencies they share with her. Holding onto the sacred and ceremonial feathers resting in her hands —waiting to be a part of the upcoming ceremony she will facilitate.
This jungle is filled to the brim with plant medicines, mind expanding —heart expanding —master teacher pathways. Feeling particularly blessed on this day, she also has heightened awareness of her powerful feline guardians that protect and purify the gateway through the interdimensional portal that only the trained are permitted to enter.
