Sometimes I look back at all the yoga photos I’ve taken throughout the years, and I get so emotional.

I remember how much passion I had for creating, for expressing myself through my body, and for sharing my love for yoga. It was something that came from very deep within my heart. It felt pure, genuine and honest.

I was so deeply grateful and amazed by this incredible journey that yoga took me on. The way the practice invites us to go deeper and deeper within ourselves, discovering parts of ourselves we didn’t even know were there.

Sometimes I think of it like a sculptor slowly carving into a piece of stone, revealing something that was hidden inside all along.

And then, losing the version of myself I had discovered through this journey became one of the most painful things I’ve ever been through.

I think I’m still grieving her in some ways.

But I’m also starting to make peace with the idea that maybe life brought me here because another version of me needs to emerge.

I’m more at peace now with having had to take such a long break from my practice. And I really hope I’ll slowly find my way back, following the breadcrumbs, back home to myself.

Maybe this time, to a stronger, wiser and more whole version of me. 🤍

If you want to build something in this world, build yourself.

There is nothing more valuable than putting your time, energy and focus into becoming stronger, expanding beyond who you are today, and discovering how much more of yourself there is to become.

You are your biggest project and your most important investment.

I feel like one of the most important things in life is to keep yourself intact, no matter what you go through.

That means not compromising your worth, your values, your heart, or your needs just to please others, just because something feels comfortable, or just because it has become your comfort zone.

If you protect your integrity, then no matter what happens around you, you will still have yourself.

But if you keep fragmenting yourself, diluting yourself, and becoming smaller just to fit in, keep the peace, or avoid losing something, then when those things eventually leave your life, you may feel more lost than ever.

So protect your heart. Protect your values. Protect the parts of you that make you who you are.

If you think about it, the greatest investment you will ever make is in yourself.

In your body. In your growth. In the person you are becoming.

We can have so many goals, projects, and things we want to build in life, but I really believe that nothing around us can grow in a meaningful way if we are not growing within ourselves first.

External growth follows internal growth.

So before putting all your energy into changing your circumstances, ask yourself where you still need to grow, heal, learn, or become stronger within.

There is no way around the inner work.

As within, so without.

I feel like the most valuable thing that you can do is to follow the guidance of your heart and to follow what truly lights you up.

If there is something you love so much that you feel your whole energy change when you do it, follow that.

I believe this is the red thread that leads us back to ourselves. The things we truly love are often the things that help us become more fully who we are meant to be.

We don’t always need to rationalize everything or figure out what makes the most sense. Sometimes, deep down, we already know.

We just need to quiet the noise enough to hear it.
