At last Primrose decided to give birth this morning at dawn. She can now introduce her beautiful kids to the world

All is doing well, Mammy and kids are all very happy as you can see.

Thank you so much to Network Ireland Meath Branch for you support. It was a pleasure taking part in the resent monthly "New Member Spotlight" A lovely bunch of ladies, I can't wait to get more acquainted with you all over the coming months.

Our journey began when my children decided to buy 2 kid goats named Bluebell & Masie which they reared from a very young age,I was anxious by the idea but my children persisted with the notion and soon persuaded me to agree.The kid goats were bottle fed and raised on fresh pasture and hay. We watched the kids grow and had so much fun making memories. At the time it was the “dreadful Covid nightmare” but not for us as we were focusing our time on goats and their needs.

A year had passed Bluebell & Maxie had given birth to beautiful kids. We soon stocked up a large volume of milk and began to trial a few batches of soap. Having experienced eczema in my family I knew it could be possible to make a soap that could help with this skin condition. After a little research and knowledge I then pursued an online soap making course and that’s where the magic began. I haven’t looked back since.

You will find Ivy Cottage Soup products at local farmers markets, shops and craft fairs around Meath and beyond. 🐐

Well that's a wrap here in Oldcastle for 2025....


I met absolutely wonderful people over the weekend, I received a lovely warm welcome from vendor and locals Oldcastle has a wonderful community spirit.
I would like to thank all the people that popped over to me at the market for a chat, most of all thank you for your support it is very much appreciated.
