Hey 👋🏼.. it’s 00:18am , I’m just in bed a short time, sipping away my tea here before I close my eyes. Sitting in silence, analysing the day.
Another busy day over and done with, yet ‘the list’ isn’t getting any smaller!!
It’s been a crazy week, between school, work, courses, my new venture & being mum!!
Ive spoken about the ‘spinning plates’ before (mine are still up - just!) and sooo many of you related! I’ve also had a couple of people say “why not just be at home, stop all the pressure & wait until the kids are older” ….

Why?? Why do I need to do that? Where is the rule that once you become a mother- that’s it??!!
I’ve spent sooo many years being ‘mummy’ completely losing myself, my ideas, my goals etc as my focus was purely on my “new job” .. why can’t I be mum AND work AND study AND try start a business? Surely that’s showing my children, if you work hard you achieve the things you want- no matter what they are 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was Siobhan before I was ‘mummy’ …
I don’t mean to rant, but I know some people that feel “too old” to start that course, or “I’ll wait until the kids finish school to look into that job” .. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS..
so you do what you need to do, to make your life better!! Wanting to go to work and not stay at home with the kids IS OK!! You’re not a bad parent for thinking that! (my sanity is going to work 🤣🤣)
No, but seriously, you are capable of anything you put your mind to, we are the ones that put pressure on ourselves & self doubt in the mix. Give yourselves a break.. grab a cuppa and decide what you want 💜
