Was it hard work... absolutely
Was it worth it... ABSOLUTELY!

and I'm still loving it, I feel now at my age (53 f**k it it's only a number😄) if I was to put in the work I do now 30 years ago I should be like a supermodel 😂 but I'm not nor do I want to be. So I do what I'm told I never lift heavier than I can manage because I don't want to injure myself and so far so good! When I look in the mirror now I'm so happy where I am.

I never EVER thought I'd have muscle definition in my back, arms or even abs 🤣 and not one sit up have I done over the last 9 months. It's unreal how it all works thanks to he knows what he's doing and I trust him, well I should at this stage 😅

Then this all happened 9 months later!

I couldn't have done this on my own, I just did what I was told (literally 😅) given professional guidance from my coach from weights, cardio, supplements, vitamins & food. Honestly, the reason it works for me is Darragh (in my opinion) makes it so easy. Yes you have to weigh your food but you don't have to count calories or any macros. He does all that for you👌

It took me a couple of months to get used to weighing & prepping my food around work and making time for the gym. That was a whole new world for me, I was terrified of some of the machines, some of them can be quite intimidating at first but Darragh also attached a utube link to each exercise for guidance tg 😂 and thanks to Jane from my gym very kindly showed me around each machine. Now I fly around 😅

I've never felt as good and I'm so proud of what I've achieved for me!

If you said to me a year ago I'd have done my first fitness photo shoot I would have laughed and said what? No way! I joined a gym for the first time Sept 2022 I started with the classes which I enjoyed but I felt I needed more. Why? Peri menopause was one of the main reasons I started my fitness journey, the weight was creeping up and I felt absolutely crap. I'm forever thankful to my gorgeous friend Catherine who told me to contact Darragh body transformation coach and I've never looked back 🥰

What a month September has been and I'm so grateful for all the positive vibes...I'm loving every minute ❤️ Thank you so much Nina for capturing these memorable moments ❤️😘
