I am STILL in shock that I walked away from the Best In Beauty Awards Ireland last night with not one, but TWO overall wins. 🏆

When I first started my business, I could only dream of moments like this. To now be standing here with two awards recognising everything I have worked so hard to build honestly feels surreal.

I have built both of my businesses from the ground up, completely on my own, while navigating the highs, the lows, the pressure, the long days, the late nights and trying to balance running two businesses alongside life.

It hasn’t always been easy. There have been so many moments of doubt, challenges, sacrifices and times where I’ve wondered if I was doing enough. But I kept going. I kept believing in myself and kept pushing forward. 🤍

And last night was one of those moments where I could finally stop and think…

Wow. Look how far I’ve come. 🥹

I am SO incredibly proud of myself. Proud of the businesses I have built, proud of the woman I have become and proud that I never gave up on the dreams I had for myself.

But above all, I am incredibly grateful.

Grateful for every client who has trusted me.
Every student who has chosen to learn from me.
Every person who has supported my businesses.
Every message, recommendation, like, share and word of encouragement.
And every single person who has believed in me along the way. 🤍

You have all played a part in making these dreams a reality.

These awards mean more to me than I could ever put into words. They are a reminder that all of the hard work, sacrifice and dedication really is worth it.

From starting with a dream to becoming a two-time overall winner in Ireland… 🥹🏆

Kinda chic… but if the 26-year-old me could see this now, I think she would be pretty proud. 🤍

I started my business at 26 years old. Just me, taking a chance on myself and hoping that somehow I could make this little dream work.

I had no idea what I was doing half the time. I didn’t have a team, I didn’t have an academy, I didn’t have everything figured out… I just knew I wanted to build something of my own.

Almost 7 years later, I sometimes look around and genuinely can’t believe how far it’s come.

What started with just me has grown into a business with an incredible team of people around me. A salon I’ve poured so much of myself into. And now a training academy where I get to pass on the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the years and help other women start their own journeys too.

There have been some really difficult chapters along the way. Moments where I have doubted myself, questioned my decisions and wondered if I was capable of carrying it all. Being a business owner isn’t always the glamorous side people see online. There have been tears, sleepless nights, sacrifices, mistakes and a lot of learning the hard way.

But there has also been so much growth.

And I think that’s what makes me the proudest — not just what I have built, but the person I’ve had to become to build it.

I am proud of the girl who took that leap at 26.
I am proud of every version of me that kept going when things felt hard.
And I am so grateful for every person who has supported me, worked alongside me, trusted me and believed in what I was building. 🤍

Almost 7 years in, and I am still dreaming, still learning and still building.

Kinda chic realising the little business I started at 26 became something I once never thought I could create. ✨

And honestly… I think she would be very proud. 🥹🤍
