A wee poem for Holly the Hair Hero 🫶🥰

At seventeen, young Holly’s on a mission,
Perfecting fades with barbering ambition.
With clippers buzzing, comb held high,
She’s chasing dreams and aiming for the sky.

She’s up and at it, working hard each day,
No shortcut’s ever tempted her away.
She sweeps the floor, she learns the trade,
And somehow still keeps everyone amazed.

A ray of sunshine? That’s putting it mild,
She’s got enough energy to power a child!
A bundle of joy with a laugh so loud,
You’d hear her before you’d spot her in a crowd.

Her clients sit down looking rough as can be,
Then leave thinking, “Wow, is that really me?”
Though every now and then a practice cut’s a fright,
She’ll blame the clippers and laugh all night!

She’s got big dreams and a heart of gold,
A hundred funny stories already told.
And if hard work were money, it’s fair to say,
Holly would’ve retired by yesterday!

So here’s to Holly, cheerful and bright,
Making bad hair disappear overnight.
A future top barber, that’s plain to see,
Just don’t ask for a mullet… unless it’s free 😂

And everyone around him knew how much he cared.

Now Boston awaits for this legend to roam,
But a big part of here will always be home.
Though oceans may stretch and new roads appear,

This is a class for everyone ☺️

For men it’s surprisingly good — especially for strength, balance, stress, and long-term joint health. It’s low-impact, but it’s not “easy” in the ways that matter.

What it actually improves
• Balance & fall prevention – Tai chi trains slow weight shifting and stability, which reduces injury risk as you age.
• Joint health – Gentle, controlled motion helps knees, hips, and lower back without heavy loading.
• Functional strength – Holding semi-squat stances builds leg and core endurance (it burns more than it looks).
• Mobility & flexibility – Rotational movement improves hips, spine, and shoulders.
• Stress & focus – The slow breathing lowers cortisol and improves mental clarity.
• Heart health – Moderate aerobic benefit; not intense cardio, but still beneficial.

For men specifically
• Helps counter tight hips, stiff backs, and poor posture from desk work or lifting.
• Improves coordination and body control (useful for sports, martial arts, even lifting form).
• Good for recovery days if you already train hard.
• Often recommended for men 35+ to maintain mobility and avoid injuries.
