I'm pleased to tell you that the HSE have announced new guidelines for mastectomy wear allowances, every lady that has had a mastectomy can avail of this, a medical card is no longer required, guidelines as follows

€400 annually towards the cost of
2 mastectomy bras
1 breast prosthesis
This increases to €650 post double mastectomy

€150 annually towards the cost of
1 swimsuit
1 swim prosthesis
This increases to €215 post double mastectomy

These allowances does not apply post reconstruction

Hi folks this is my latest portrait of the lovely Leo, I did this one in coloured pencil on green coloured pastel paper, the client framed it herself.
A donation was made last year to Bjd Cancer Support Fund, the client (Lorraine Coleman) was very patient waiting for me to get it done but very pleased with the result.

This lovely feline is called 'Cuddles' a nice change from all the dogs I'm usually painting or drawing.

Hi all as you may be aware I have been off work while recovering from surgery but I hope to be back in my clinic in Cavan on August 2nd.
Thank you for your patience & good wishes.

Unfortunately I will be away for the next 6 week's while whilst I recover from surgery.

This wonderful lady Sarah Buckley gave me the privelige of cutting her hair which she has donated to the Rapunzel Foundation which will go towards making a wig for a child with alopecia.

Her hair is so lovely and thick we made two ponytails and they were 17" long after cutting, thank you so much Sarah for your donation!

Great news it looks like I'll be able to re open on the 10th of May....yaaaay!!!!!

Can't wait to get back and see everyone but please bear with me and over the next few days I'll be in touch.
