Unfortunately we have made the decision to close the clinic for the next two weeks due to the covid-19 crisis in line with everything else in the country ! It is an ongoing and changing situation and we will be following guidelines from the hse and government !
We apologise for any inconvenience caused if anyone needs we are on the end of the phone and will organise home exercises programmes for anyone that needs it !
This is a surreal situation we as a country and global community face ! We urge everyone to observe the social distancing protocols , be safe and look out for each other !!

Glute Stretch
One of our favorite stretches to prescribe in the clinic , tight hips can cause both hip and back pain , if you find yourself seated for long periods ie driving or sitting at a desk it is important to get moving and stretch out the hips

• hold for 20 seconds
• repeat 4-5 times on both sides

Shoulder Pain

shoulder pain is something we see regularly in the clinic, the most common cause is impingement or damage to the "rotator cuff" which are a group of 4 muscles in the shoulder ! They help to raise the arm overhead and bring the arm away from the body !

Common complaints can be
1 Difficulty lifting your arm overhead
2 Pain at night
3 Pain lying on the shoulder
4 Weakness in the shoulder
5 Shoulder 'catching"

Causes can be a fall or bang or sometimes it can happen for no reason with symptoms getting worse over a number of weeks or months !!

We try help you get back on track through a stretching and strengthening programme !!
