Ahhh Sunday!

The day we're supposed to relax, put our feet up and recharge the batteries…

Well, that's the theory anyway!

Does anyone else start Sunday morning thinking, "I'm doing absolutely nothing today," only to find themselves three hours later with the washing machine on, the hoover out and a list of jobs as long as their arm?

And then there's the Sunday evening ritual…

"What am I wearing tomorrow?"
"Have I everything ready?"
"Where did the weekend go?!"

Sound familiar?

Here's your little Sunday reminder…

The world won't stop turning if you leave a few things until tomorrow.

The washing will still be there, the dust isn't going anywhere, and you don't need to earn the right to sit down with a cuppa!

So put your feet up, have a laugh and enjoy whatever is left of your Sunday.

And tell me…

Are you a Sunday relaxer or a Sunday cleaner who can't sit still?

Can I ask you something?

When was the last time you did something just because you enjoyed it?

Not because it needed done, not because someone else wanted you to, but simply because it made YOU happy?

It's funny, isn't it? As we get older, life seems to become one big list of things we have to do.

Work, housework, family commitments, appointments… and before we know it, another week has disappeared!

But here's the thing…

Life isn't just about getting everything done.

It's about enjoying the little moments along the way too.

So this weekend, give yourself permission to do something just for the fun of it.

Even if it's only an hour with a good book, a walk somewhere lovely or a coffee with a friend.

And leave the guilt behind!

Now I'm curious…

What's your favourite way to spend a Saturday when you've absolutely nothing planned?

16/10/2026

Isn't it funny how much time we can spend worrying about what other people think?

We want to make a change, try something new or maybe even walk away from something that isn't making us happy anymore.

But then that little voice starts…

"What will people say?"

"Will they think I've made a mistake?"

"Will I disappoint someone?"

And before we know it, we've talked ourselves out of doing what we really want.

Here's the thing…

People will always have opinions. That's life!

But they're not the ones living your life. YOU are.

And you deserve to make decisions that feel right for you, not decisions based on keeping everyone else happy.

So here's a little question for you this Friday…

If you stopped worrying about what other people thought, what would you do differently?

15/10/2026

Have you ever stuck with something simply because you said you would?

Maybe it was a commitment, a decision you made years ago, or something you agreed to because it felt right at the time.

And now? Well, things have changed.

But instead of doing what feels right for you, you find yourself worrying about what everyone else will think.

Here's something I want you to remember today…

You're allowed to change your mind!

Just because something was right for you once doesn't mean it has to be right for you forever.

We're constantly learning, growing and discovering things about ourselves. Goodness, I'm still learning every single day!

Changing your mind doesn't mean you're unreliable or that you've failed. Sometimes it simply means you've grown.

Tell me, do you find it easy to change your mind, or do you worry about letting other people down?

A little Sunday reminder…

You are allowed to be proud of how far you’ve come.

Not just the big things.

The conversations you handled differently.
The boundaries you finally put in place.
The things that used to knock you for six that don’t anymore.
The moments you chose yourself.

Growth isn’t always loud.

Sometimes it looks like reacting differently to something that once would have ruined your whole day.

So before you rush into another week, take a wee minute and ask yourself:
What am I doing better now than I was six months ago?

You might surprise yourself

A little reminder for your weekend…

You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect to enjoy your life.

There will always be something to sort.
Something to think about.
Something still sitting on the to-do list.

But there are also good moments happening right in the middle of all of that.

The coffee you enjoy.
The person who makes you laugh.
The walk that clears your head.
The quiet five minutes you nearly rushed past.

Don’t miss the good bits because you’re too busy waiting for everything else to settle.

There is still joy to be found in an ordinary day.

A question I ask people all the time:
What are you making this mean?
Plans change.
Someone doesn’t reply.
Something doesn’t work out.
And your mind can create a whole story before you’ve even had time to think.

Stop.

Ask yourself:
Is that actually true… or is that just my interpretation?

That little pause can change everything.

08/10/2026

One bad moment does not deserve your whole day.
One awkward conversation.
One annoying email.
One person in a mood.
You’re allowed to be frustrated.
You’re allowed to have a wobble.
Just don’t unpack your bags and move in there!

Reset.
Start again.
Carry on.

When was the last time you changed your mind about something?

Not because someone convinced you.

Because you realised you’d outgrown the old way of thinking.

Maybe something you used to tolerate.

Something you thought you had to do.

Something you believed about yourself.

Changing your mind isn’t failure.

Sometimes it’s growth.

What have you changed your mind about lately?
