Well, it has certainly been a week of awards for the salon… my head will be swollen soon! 😂🏆

Just off the back of winning Best Customer Excellence, we found out that we also won not one, but two Munster awards at the Best in Beauty Awards:

We couldn’t attend the awards on the night, but that certainly doesn’t take away from how delighted—and genuinely shocked—we are!

The Best Salon Manager award is definitely not mine alone. It reflects the wonderful team I get to work alongside, Eileen’s continued trust and support, and every client who chooses to walk through our doors.

I’m still in complete shock that last night we won Best Customer Excellence. Of all the awards we could receive, this one feels especially close to my heart because our clients are at the centre of everything we do. 💛

This award belongs to our whole team. Every one of our girls brings something different to the salon, but they all share the same genuine care for the people who walk through our doors. They remember the little things, celebrate the happy moments, listen through the difficult ones and always try to make every client feel welcome and valued. I couldn’t be prouder of them.

We make mistakes and would never claim to be perfect, but we care, we listen and we learn. To me, this award reflects how much we have grown together—and it will encourage us to keep learning, improving and striving to give our clients the very best experience we can.

Last night was also a lovely reminder of the support within our industry, particularly among the amazing women of West Cork. We may work in different salons, but there is room for all of us to succeed. Seeing women encourage, celebrate and genuinely cheer one another on was such a special part of the night, and that sense of community is something I hope we continue to build.

To our clients—many of whom feel more like friends—thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be part of your lives. Thank you to Eileen for putting her trust in me and, most of all, thank you to our incredible team for putting their hearts into what they do every day.

This recognition means more to me than I could ever properly put into words. 🥹
