Sometimes, the changes you’re looking for aren’t about doing more, they’re about understanding what your body needs. ✨

That heavy, puffy or uncomfortable feeling can have more behind it than you realise, and lymphatic drainage may be one piece of the puzzle.

Your body is always communicating with you. The key is learning how to listen. 🤍

Have you ever considered that fluid retention could be affecting how you feel in your body?

You came “just to try it”… but your body loved it so much, one session was never going to be enough. 😂🤍

Who else got hooked after their first lymphatic drainage massage? 👀✨

The simple answer? Whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Some clients prefer to wear a sports bra or top, others feel more comfortable in a bikini, underwear, or removing certain items of clothing. There is no right or wrong choice.

Your comfort always comes first. We will guide you depending on the treatment you have booked, and you will always be properly covered with towels throughout your session to protect your privacy and help you feel at ease. ✨

For lymphatic drainage, sculpting massage, or body treatments, we also recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothes afterwards.

So, what should you wear? Whatever helps you relax and feel comfortable in your body. 🤎

There’s a lot of misinformation about lymphatic drainage massage, and it might be stopping you from enjoying its benefits! 👀

The right treatment should feel safe, comfortable and tailored to you, whatever your needs or stage of life. 🤍
Have you ever believed one of these myths? Let us know below! 👇🏼

Your lymphatic drainage session doesn’t end when you leave the treatment room. 🤎

What you do afterwards can help support your body and make the most of that lovely light feeling.

Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of water to support your body’s natural processes and lymphatic flow.

Keep your body moving gently
A light walk or gentle movement can help encourage circulation and keep your lymphatic system active.

Listen to your body
Take it easy, rest if you need to, and give your body time to respond to the treatment.

How long do the results last?

That light, less puffy feeling can last for several days, but it varies from person to person and depends on factors such as hydration, lifestyle, diet, hormones, and your body’s individual needs. Regular sessions, combined with good hydration and gentle movement, can help support longer lasting results. ✨

Every body is different, and we’ll always guide you with personalised aftercare recommendations based on your individual needs.

Kinda chic to take care of yourself ✨
Your lymphatic system deserves a little love too🤎

For some women, this can be more than just stubborn fat. It may be a sign of lipoedema, a chronic condition that causes an abnormal accumulation of fat, most commonly in the legs and sometimes the arms.

You may also notice heaviness, tenderness, swelling, easy bruising, or a disproportion between your upper and lower body.

And no, lipoedema is not simply about diet or lack of exercise.

While massage does not cure lipoedema, personalised lymphatic drainage may help support lymphatic flow and provide relief from feelings of heaviness and swelling for some clients. 🤎

If you suspect you may have lipoedema, it is important to seek an assessment from a qualified healthcare professional for an appropriate diagnosis and guidance.

Your body deserves to be understood, not judged. ✨

This is one of the questions I get asked the most.

The answer is: both can be beneficial, but they have different purposes.

💚 Before surgery, lymphatic drainage can help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and prepare your body for a smoother recovery.

💚 After surgery, post operative lymphatic drainage helps reduce swelling, support healing, minimize fibrosis, and make your recovery more comfortable.

If you're planning surgery or you're already recovering, we are here to support you every step of the way.

Which treatment is right for you? 🤎

Sometimes your body feels heavy. Sometimes it’s holding onto tension. And sometimes, you simply need to switch off and give yourself permission to rest.

At The Lymph Glow, every treatment is tailored to you, because what your body needs today might be completely different from what it needs next week.

Not sure what to book? We’ll guide you. ✨

Feeling puffy? Lymphatic drainage.
Feeling tense? Deep tissue massage.
Need to switch off? Relaxing massage.
Want a little bit of everything? We’ll recommend the perfect treatment for you after a personalised consultation.

Your body tells us what it needs. We’re here to listen. 🤎
