Here in Pat McDonnell Paints we honour a long standing tradition of recognising the members of our team who have offered us 20 years’ of service by presenting them with a watch.

We were delighted to recognise another member of our team this week, Catriona McDonnell, whom many of our Bachelor's Quay store customers may know as Trini. Trini marked 20 years’ service with Pat McDonnell Paints in 2020.

Trini asked that rather than receive a watch to mark this occasion, the company make a donation to the Cork branch of the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland on her behalf. We were delighted to make a donation of €500 to this incredibly worthy cause.

This is a charity close to all of our hearts here in Pat McDonnell Paints. Trini's generous request gives us the opportunity to highlight the incredible work they do and share with our community how they might also be able to make a difference. The Parkinson's Association of Ireland aim to assist people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers, health professionals and other interested people by offering support, a listening ear and information on any aspect of living with Parkinson’s.
