I let you know last week that I'm now offering manual lymph drainage, so what's that all about then??

The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted substances. It also has an important role to play in the body’s immune response, as it is this system which circulates the white blood cells (lymphocytes) that fight against infections and disease.
The system is primarily found in the superficial layers of the skin, and so the treatment involved in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very light, gentle massage which stimulates the flow of lymph.
There are many benefits to MLD..
Relaxation, stress relief and improved quality of sleep
Post-operative treatment to reduce swelling, pain, bruising and scarring
Reduction in post-traumatic swelling (bruising, dislocation of the shoulder, torn muscle fibres etc.)
Can accelerate that enhance the healing process of broken bones, torn ligaments and sprains
Improvement to chronic inflammatory conditions such as Sinusitis, Arthritis, Acne and Acne Rosacea
Promotes the healing of wounds and burns
Can improve the appearance of scars
Helps to relieve lipoedema/cellulite
Helps to relieve constipation and generally aid digestion
Helps to relieve PMT and pregnancy related swelling
Ideal for fibromyalgia and other touch sensitive conditions
Can be helpful for patients with reduced mobility

This week I met a couple of lovely ladies who came in to me to use the vouchers they were given for Mother's Day - such a thoughtful gift!! 😍🤗
We did 45 minutes of relaxing massage with a little bit of treatment thrown in to address some specific muscle issues.
Your session with me can be tailored to suit your needs - doesn't have to be too deep, there's also a great benefit to be had from just taking some time out to relax.
