This model was booked for a half head of highlights but wanted the look of a much fuller, beautifully blended colour. Using advanced bespoke foil placement techniques, Faythe learned how strategic placement can create maximum brightness, dimension and impact while still working within a maintenance highlighting appointment.

At Imagez, our junior stylists don’t just learn basic colouring techniques. We teach the same modern highlighting methods our senior stylists use every day behind the chair, helping them understand how to personalise colour for each individual client.

We allocate time for training classes during our normal salon opening hours, allowing flexibility for anyone interested in becoming a model. We appreciate our models so much because without them our junior stylists wouldn’t have the opportunity to gain the hands-on experience and confidence needed to develop their skills.

All junior services are offered at reduced salon rates. Because our juniors are all at different stages of training, we can offer almost every service we provide in salon at a training rate.

Faythe finally joined the colour club! 🤎❤️

Despite spending her days creating beautiful hair for everyone else, Faythe had never coloured her own hair before. So it was time for a little transformation of her own ✨

We created this rich Cherry Chocolate brunette - a glossy brunette base infused with deep cherry and burgundy tones that catch the light beautifully.

And it wasn’t just a colour change… 🦋

We paired it with a butterfly haircut, adding plenty of layers and soft bangs to remove weight and create movement. Faythe has incredibly thick hair, so taking out some of that bulk gives her hair more shape, more bounce and helps her curly blowdries last much longer.

Safe to say she deserved this one ❤️

Introducing our junior stylist Abbie 🤍

Yesterday in the salon, Abbie gave her mum Andrea some well-deserved hair TLC — a full circle moment we absolutely loved.

Andrea has been Michelle’s client for many years, and Abbie has been part of the salon since she was a little girl, so we’re taking full responsibility for her choosing hairdressing as a career 😂

Abbie started her hairdressing journey last September in Mallow College and completed her work placement here with us at Imagez Hair.

Her attention to detail, perfectionism and willingness to learn have impressed us from day one.

We are delighted to now have Abbie in the salon every day and later this year she plans to begin her 3-year Irish Hairdressing Apprenticeship through Imagez Hair ✨

Abbie currently offers €10 Training Blowdries Wednesday to Friday and bookings can be made online through our Team Members section 🤍

As Abbie progresses through her training, more services will be added to her menu and prices will increase to reflect her growth and progression.

✨ A little update from me ✨

To my regular clients — as most of you already know, I’ll be taking a few weeks away from doing hair during the summer holidays while the kids are off school 🤍

Wednesday 17th June will be my final day running my own column in the salon before taking a short summer break, with my expected return date set for September. I’ll keep you all updated once my September diary is open and ready for bookings ✨

But don’t worry — you’ll still be seeing plenty of me around the salon over the summer, as I’ll be scheduling lots of training days with Faythe, Leah & Abbie 🤍

While my column is temporarily closed, you’ll be in very safe hands with Jacqui and Clodagh. All client notes will be fully updated so the girls can seamlessly continue from where we left off.

If you haven’t already booked in with me over the next few weeks, please get in touch. I still have some availability and I’ll do my very best to look after everyone before I sign off for summer ☀️

We’re delighted to welcome Clodagh back from maternity leave from Friday 22nd May.

She will be available one day per week (Fridays only), so appointments will be limited.

Our Training Academy is where our junior stylists and trainees build confidence, skill and professional portfolios — all within our salon environment and under full supervision.

These services are offered at reduced training rates and are ideal if you’re flexible on time and happy to support the next generation of stylists 🤍

Services include:

• Colour
• Highlights
• Keratin blowdries

Appointments are mainly available midweek and all prices are clearly displayed when booking.
