I can see the ads starting already. The “influencers” sharing them. Yet every year, without fail I treat skins with severely compromised barriers & it’s down to a skincare advent calendar. A lot of the time they contain a lot of actives - not necessarily suitable for every skin. And certainly not suitable for layering a lot of the time. Get a fragrance or makeup one if you love the ritual of opening the boxes. But for skincare, you’d be much better booking in for a consultation & getting say a full routine of 4 products tailored to your skin concerns & the results you’re trying to achieve
