From the outside – it all seems simple: a brush, a colour, a design.
But in reality – in my head there’s a full-on high-level strategy meeting happening:

🎯 “First the base, then the subtle ombré, glitter here but only under the top coat to get that effect she wants… Maybe add a thin line? Yes, a line! But it has to be razor-sharp.”

👀 At the same time, my eyes are scanning – is the client holding her hand correctly, is the nail perfectly aligned, is the angle just right, because one millimetre here means everything.

💭 And, of course, my thoughts wander: “Did I put the banana in the kid’s lunchbox? Did I take the laundry out of the washer? I’ll need to stop at the shop later…”
Then – back to the plan: “Okay, left hand, third nail – this is where the design’s grand finale begins.”

💫 That’s how, from this whirlwind of thoughts, the result is born – something that looks effortless, but is actually a carefully planned mission.

Ah, summer! That magical time when even schedules dream of a holiday…
And suddenly, a message pops up:

“Hey, it’s such a beautiful day… I think I’ll cancel my appointment and head to the beach.” 🌊🩴

Meanwhile, I’m already prepped, file in hand, coffee on the table, an hour reserved just for YOU…
But hey – I get it. The sun doesn’t shine every day! 😄

Still, I wondered – what if the roles were reversed?
Imagine I wake up, birds are singing, the sky is blue, sunshine all around…

“Sweetie, you know what? I’m cancelling your appointment – I’m off to get a tan!” 🌴🌞🍓

How would you feel? 😅
Not great, right?

So here’s just a little summertime thought about that delicate balance – your time for mine.
