💥We were taught that training is about punishment.

Burning, suffering, proving something.

But movement was never meant to hurt us — it’s meant to honour us.

✨Training is self-respect.
✨Training is growth.
✨Training is self-love.

⏳It all started as a teenager, dreaming of being a police officer, firefighter, or joining the Armed Forces in Brazil — for that, I needed a degree.

Growing up around sport and dance — my dad studied Physical Education — I was always active. I chose to study Physical Education, thinking that if nothing else worked out, I could be a dance teacher.

🎓At eighteen, I went straight to university and got a scholarship in a cardiopulmonary rehab programme. There, I discovered research in Physical Education and cardiology, worked with a multidisciplinary team, and managed a group of nearly 100 people.

💗From the very first months, I felt my love for exercise grow, and I realised it’s so much more than aesthetics — I could truly impact people’s lives.

Soon after, I started an internship at a gym, worked in schools, and even became a dance teacher for a while

Back then, I was really frustrated I didn’t pass the public service exam (for the police career), but today I’m so grateful — because it pushed me to follow the path my degree was pointing to: working with physical exercise

🎓Graduating with a teaching degree and experiencing this balance between education and health, I decided to go for a bachelor’s in Physical Education — the degree in Brazil that allows you to work in gyms, as a trainer.

I spent a few more years at university to qualify in both areas, giving myself more time to decide whether I wanted to be a teacher or a trainer.

I gradually built my path as a personal trainer. I even created weight-loss projects with nutritionists and psychologists, impacting over a thousand lives over 11 years.

💞I could have stayed in education, but my heart led me to health and fitness.

⌛This story is already long, but if you like it, I can share a part 2 — about why and when I moved to Ireland to work as a personal trainer.

🦴 Osteoporosis is a highly prevalent condition among women, especially after menopause, due to the reduction in oestrogen levels and the decrease in bone mineral density.

💪 Strength training is one of the most effective strategies for prevention, as it provides mechanical stimuli capable of activating bone remodelling and promoting the maintenance (or increase) of bone density.

📊 Scientific evidence shows that well-prescribed programmes, with load progression and individualisation, reduce the risk of fractures, improve muscle strength, and contribute to women’s functional independence throughout ageing.

⚠️ Exercise prescription should be guided by a qualified professional, taking into account clinical history, hormonal stage, and physical fitness level.

💡 Strength training is not about aesthetics. It’s about health, prevention and longevity.

👉 Your bone health matters more than you think. With professional guidance and tailored training, I’ll help you move better, feel stronger, and stay independent for longer.

🎢Life is full of highs and lows, and so is progress in the gym.

Some days, we feel strong, motivated, and capable of pushing our limits. Other days, even the simplest tasks feel heavy, and showing up is a struggle.

🔋But our best effort isn’t a fixed standard—it changes depending on where we are mentally, physically, and emotionally. What matters is that we give what we can on any given day.

🔐Just like in life, consistency in the gym is built not on perfection but on perseverance. The key is to honor where you are while still moving forward.

🚨January ending and some people are still waiting for the perfect momento to start, while some others started perfectly and gave up for the same reason.

People who wait for perfect conditions to start something often find themselves stuck in a cycle of inaction.

💫They believe that once the stars align, the timing will be just right to pursue their goals. However, life rarely offers ideal circumstances. Waiting for perfection often becomes an excuse for avoiding risk, fear of failure, or uncertainty.

📈Progress comes not from ideal beginnings, but from starting where you are, with what you have, and learning as you go.

Taking imperfect action builds momentum, confidence, and clarity—qualities that perfectionism often steals.

The truth is, perfect conditions never arrive; the best time to start is now.🚀
