Hair transformation fall hair colour

It’s been a week since I went lighter for fall YES I know when everyone else is going darker with their hair colours I am going lighter.

However what I wanted was to add lightness but with an Autumn colour palette so we added warm to the tone.

We scattered babylites (tiny very thin highlights) throughout the top sections, sides and back of my hair. We did this to break up and old colour line in my hair that was creating a dark band as it had grown out and to give a very soft look as it all grows out.As I only typically lighten my hair once a year I need this to be low maintenance . Most months I then just top up my roots with my usual brunette colour.

Once the hair is lifted we then added a mocha gold gloss to give the right amount of warmth without being too warm. The mocha keeps things more balanced. The whole look becomes more of a soft balayage that looks multi tonal against the darkness of the underneath of my hair
