Christmas Opening Hours 2025.

24th December 9.30am to 1pm

Closed:
25th, 26th,27th,28th,29th,30th

31st December 9am to 1pm

1st January Closed

Normal business hours resume 2nd January 2026

If anyone needs a stocking filler for Christmas, my wife has knitted some Beanie hats and selling them outside the shop today !!!

Customers some very sad news !! Some of you might remember John who use to do all the cleaning around the shops and maintained all the flower beds. John passed away last Wednesday suddenly.. He was part of the furniture in the shop for 8 years and a great friend to myself and Mary. May he sleep well and rest in peace. 🙏

Shop will be closed on St Patrick's day Monday the 17th of March and Business as usual Tuesday 18th March..

Folks given the current Red status warning for storm Eowyn for the entire country, the shop will remain closed tomorrow January 24th. We will reopen at 9am on Saturday the 25th.

Customers due to an increase in Vat by 50% ( 9% to 13.5%), I am left with no option but to increase prices from 1st of Sept. Its only 2 euro accross the board.

Next Tuesday the 18th of April the shop will open at 1pm to 6pm to facilitate a doctors appointment for Mary. I will be going for my knee surgery and will return 3rd May !!!!!!

Folks have to get a bit of surgery on my knee so will need to close the shop on SUNDAYS ONLY from 9th of April to the 28th of May inclusive.
