Gentlemen this is a very easy way to help reduce your risk of developing prostate cancer

#1 Enjoy at least 2 servings of cooked tomatoes per week🍅

According to a number of population studies, men who have a greater dietary intake of either lycopene-containing foods or tomatoes appear to have a lower risk of developing prostate cancer.

Lycopene is a natural carotenoid pigment responsible for the red colour of some fruits such as tomatoes. Food processing and heating tomatoes allows for better absorption of lycopene.

Also by adding some fats such as olive oil will also improve the absorption of this potent antioxidant.

Enjoy 2 or more servings per week of homemade tomato-based pasta sauce using tinned tomatoes or passata, topped with a drizzle of olive oil. You can also add sundried tomatoes to salads, enjoy as part of an antipasto or blitz into homemade sauces. Add some cherry tomatoes when scrambling eggs and serve with some olive oil or basil pesto.😀

Do you wonder what your week would look like if you implemented this?

SEVEN DAY DIGITAL DETOX

Who’s up for giving this a go this week?

The goal of this plan, taken from , is to examine, change, and then if necessary reset, your relationship with your electronic devices, and work up to a Screen-Free Sabbath.

The idea is to wind down gradually so that, by the time Sunday comes, you will be ready to take the plunge and have an entirely screen-free day. (If your phone is your only means of communication, you can always just turn off data and wifi for the day, so you can still make and receive calls and texts)

Let me know if you are up for giving this a go! Even if all you do is Monday’s suggestion to switch of ALL notifications, I guarantee you will feel a big difference. Would love to know your thoughts below!
