People are asking what is a glycolic peel.
It is a aha fruit acid peel that I use from 5% that is mild for sensitive and young skin to 20% for a more mature skin. It is a different ph to our skin and is able to gently dissolve the dead skin on our face. It works its way deep into the upper layers of the skin and promotes collagen production you may feel a slight tingling on the skin but it is never painful. I then neutralise the aha by returning your skin to its natural ph balance.
You do need spf 50 after because the skin is new and fresh and is more likely to burn in the sun. It is not for extremely sensitive skin types but works brilliantly on all other skin types.
It is natural and not a chemical peel and you will not be left with a big red face that sheads like a snake that's a way different procedure.
