LATEST NEWS — Updated 24th February 2021:

We remain closed, subject to Government Review, due to the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic — online booking info available below.

The Taoiseach Micheál Martin has announced the extension of Level 5 restrictions until April 5th (Bear in mind; Hairdressing can only open at Level 3).

While the Government states that these Level 5 measures will be considered on April 5th, it nonetheless warns that “public health advice is that it is too early to say how and when other restrictions should be eased given current uncertainties”.

The latest guidance also suggests that we may not open until after Easter (possibly not before May). And for want of a clear target reopening date, we’ll continue to allow the online bookings to come in and enable Clients to reschedule them forward, as needs be.

Currently, you can book online, with appointments available for Monday 12th April 2021 onwards. PLEASE NOTE, bookings may require rescheduling — Clients can do this on our online system.

Based on previous updates and predictions, clients could book online for Monday 8th March 2021 onwards, but it now appears the March and possibly early-April bookings will require rescheduling.

Meanwhile, we trust this information helps with some degree of prediction in an unpredictable situation.

LATEST NEWS — Updated 11th February 2021:

Pending some definite developments, it appears that although nothing is definite; one thing is for sure, we’ll remain closed for some time yet — Subject to Government Review, due to the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.

You can book online, with appointments currently available for Monday 8th March 2021 onwards. Although, PLEASE NOTE, according to the Irish Times, is that “Taoiseach Micheál Martin has indicated that Ireland will remain in a prolonged period of lockdown that Fianna Fáil colleagues predict could last right up to the beginning of May.”

And that, “the planned changes to commence on 5th March, would not result in any easing of Level 5 restrictions, save in the key sectors of education and construction.”

Bear in mind; Hairdressing can only open at Level 3.

Another recent update, also according to the Irish Times, was that Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said construction would reopen “hopefully on 5th March”, and personal services such as hairdressers would likely be “definitely much later than that”.

Based on previous updates and predictions, Clients have been able to book online for Monday 8th March 2021 onwards, but it now appears the March bookings will require rescheduling.

So, for want of a yet to be announced clear target reopening date, we’ll continue to allow the online bookings to come in, and enable Clients to reschedule them forward, as needs be.

Meanwhile, here’s hoping this information helps with some degree of prediction in an unpredictable situation.

LATEST NEWS — Updated 28th January 2021:

In line with Lockdown-3, we will be closed until at least the 6th March 2021 (Subject to Government Review), due to the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.

You can book online, with appointments currently available for Monday 8th March 2021 onwards. Although, PLEASE NOTE, according to the Irish Times;

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar told a meeting of the Fine Gael parliamentary party on Wednesday night that the country may move to Level 4 measures or “Level 4 with modifications” after March 5th.

(Bear in mind, Hairdressing can only open at Level 3).

Taoiseach Micheál Martin said the vaccine rollout would give the Government further choices for easing restrictions towards the middle of the year, which likely means that hospitality and other sectors will face curbs for some time yet.

We will be closed for at least two weeks, from 3pm on Christmas Eve, Thursday 24th December 2020 — until Wednesday 13th January 2021 (Subject to Government Review), due to the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.

You can book online, with appointments currently available for the 13th January onwards. Although, please note, according to the Irish Times; “The Government has said the measures will be reviewed on January 12th. However, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said the restrictions may have to remain in place until the end of February, when substantial numbers of people have received the vaccine.”
