A little reintroduction… 🤎

There are lots of new faces here, so I thought it was time to give you some background on Bohemian Beauty.

My story with tanning started all the way back in 1998, when I was just 18 and pregnant with my first daughter.

What started as mobile spray tanning, travelling from house to house to make a little extra money alongside my accountancy job, became something I genuinely fell in love with.

And those little spray tans went further than I ever could have imagined… they helped me get my first mortgage at just 23 and, not long after, I built my second home completely by myself. 🤎

Years of training followed — beauty, skin, massage, then a year long course for advanced teaching so I could deliver training to the highest standard — and in 2009 I opened my own salon.

I’m still there today, running a fully booked salon completely on my own, alongside my product business, Bohemian Beauty.

Then came 2017.

After nearly two decades of spray tanning and knowing exactly what I loved and hated about tanning products, I decided it was time to create my own.

I spent over two years developing my first formulas before launching Hippy Glow and Boho Bronze.

Two products.
One huge dream.

And now, Bohemian Beauty has grown into a range of 30+ products.

But what I’m even more proud of is how I’ve built all of this while raising my three daughters on my own, supporting them and building our life through my own hard work.

They are my biggest why.

I want my girls to know you don’t need to wait for someone to give you an opportunity.

If you want something badly enough, work your ass off and build it.

That’s always been my mindset.

And after all these years, my hunger, ambition and love for business hasn’t changed one bit.

Wow… where do i even start? 🥹

I am honestly so happy and incredibly grateful to have been shortlisted for 5 Best in Beauty Awards this year.

To be recognised alongside so many amazing businesses is such an honour, and i genuinely feel so lucky.

What a lot of people don’t realise is that Bohemian Beauty is just me. I’m a single mum, I run not one but two businesses completely on my own, and I wear every single hat. From tanning, treatments and lashes, to answering messages, ordering stock, cleaning, social media, bookings, accounts… it’s all me!

So after nearly 30 years in the tanning and beauty industry, to finally have all the hard work, passion and dedication recognised like this honestly means more than I can put into words.

None of this would be possible without my amazing clients and customers. Whether you’ve been with me for years or have only recently found Bohemian Beauty, thank you for trusting me, supporting my little business and cheering me on every step of the way.
