EMI Physical Therapy / Sports Therapy
EMI Physical Therapy, Sport Massage, Dublin Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a form of soft tissue manual therapy.
It is distinguished from other types of massage in that a quasi-static pressure is applied to the skin with the aim of stimulating specific areas of skeletal muscle. NMT is a comprehensive program of soft tissue manipulation techniques that balance the central nervous system (brain, spinal column and nerves) with the structure and form of the musculoskeletal system.

Dear friends and clients in case you haven't received this e-mail from the Centre owner Helen.
You can read it here.
I hope you are all well and safe.
We will keep you posted with any upcoming news.

To all the clients & friends of the Dublin Wellness Centre,
Its Helen here, Im writing today to let you know that I have taken the very difficult decision to close the Dublin Wellness Centre permanently.
During these last 9 weeks of temporary closure it became apparent that the Centre will be unable to reopen under the current terms of the lease. A building as beautiful as it is, comes at a high price and I was unable to negotiate better terms with my landlord for the new world we were hoping to enter in August.
2020 was our 10th year in South William St., and those 10 years have been incredible, full of life & business highs & lows but always filled with you, our clients, some of whom became our friends. Between us all, clients, staff, therapists & teachers we are a community of people who value self-care, feel empowered to look after our health and who appreciate the understanding that health & wellness is not just body, but also mind and spirit.
Let me take this opportunity to reassure you that your favourite Therapists, Teachers & Workshop Facilitators will continue offering their services from different venues as soon as restrictions ease and that many of them are already operating online. Never before has it felt more urgent that we do what we can to take responsibility for our own well-being. Physically, our best defense is a strong & healthy immune system but emotionally and mentally, our best defense is self-awareness, compassion & connection. Self-care in health-care is more important than ever before.
Our website remains a hub of information guiding you to contact your Therapist or Teacher directly & in time will show their new venues.
On behalf of all the Staff, Therapists, Teachers & Facilitators of the Dublin Wellness Centre, I would like to thank you for your loyalty, friendship, openness & compassion.
With gratitude,
Helen
