I wanted a logo that told a story about AB Aesthetics - where natural & holistic 🌿 medicine meets professional skincare.

Micro-needling

Micro-needling is a minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime. The treatment can be carried out at any time of year with Aoife Browne Aesthetics. This treatment works on areas such as the face, neck and décolleté.

Aoife & Daniel both specialise in advanced micro-needling, they treat the whole face, including the under-eye, over the eyelid and the lips, as well as the neck and décolleté all within the same treatment. It typically takes 4-6 sessions for optimal results and this comes down to the skin concern that is being treated.

All clients are prepped for a of minimum of 4 to 6 weeks prior to micro-needling as the skin needs to be in a healthy state prior to starting the treatment.

A liposome is a tiny bubble (vesicle), made out of the same material as a cell membrane. Liposomes have the ability to
encapsulate water-soluble actives, in order to deliver
water-based active ingredients into the deeper layers of the
skin. Liposomes not only deliver water - based actives into the skin, but they also repair and replenish the skin’s barrier lipids at the same time.

So how does this work?

The microscopic liposome encapsulating water-based actives, approaches the skin’s barrier.

The liposome carrying its contents fuses open the barrier lipids of the skin due to its physiological (skin mimicking) affinity.

The passage of actives is released into the skin while the liposomal taxi vehicle is left behind.
