🥳We are open 8 years today 🥳 feels like yesterday I turned the key in the lock for the first time, the loyalty from you guys since then has been incredible and it’s appreciated more than you could ever imagine, we’ve been through it all, start up nerves, covid pandemic, cost living crisis and some bad health yet we came out the other side of it all, it’s only on reflection I realise how lucky I am to have the customer base I do and I will never take that for granted .. thanks again and keep an eye on the page over then next few days as I think it’s time for a competition ❤️🤝

So it’s that time of year again folks and here’s our opening hours, some info to take note of

- book your appointment ASAP although Ciaran and jay will be on walk ins at all times
-any Sunday or Monday hours as well as Xmas Eve will be walk ins only with the 3 of us
-we would ask if you can’t make your appointment cancel with 24 hours notice or atleast let us know
-we have no late nights advertised but we will make sure to get everyone sorted as we always do

We are delighted to introduce our new junior barber Jason has been grafting for 12 months now gaining more and more knowledge about the industry, his progress to date is exceptional and we can’t wait to see how far he can go, he will be with us full time and we are offering a discounted rate of €10 on all his cuts although with his progress this offer won’t be around for long, please don’t tell him too much about myself and as we don’t want to frighten him off too soon 🤫 welcome to the team bro 👏🏻

It’s with great sadness we say goodbye to a dear friend of the shop, kitty brightened up the darkest of days with her quick wit and kind words, she was quick to Shepard any passing men in to get their haircut and her charm often done the trick. People like her don’t come around to often and it’s an absolute honour to have known her and benefited from her company ❤️

The death has occurred of
Kathleen (Kitty) Dillon
St. Nicholas Ave, Dundalk, Co. Louth
and late of Meeting House Lane.

Peacefully at home in her 92nd year, surrounded by love, after being devotedly cared for by her daughter and family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Oliver, her parents Kathleen and Martin, sisters Margaret and May, and brothers Jim, John, and Stephen. A dearly loved mother of Kathleen (McMahon), Kitty will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter, son-in-law Stephen, treasured grandchildren Andrew and Dylan, Andrew’s partner Aisling, sisters Winnie and Briege, brother Barney, extended family, her dear friends May, Marie, and Kathleen, kind neighbours, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

May She Rest In Peace.

Kitty will be reposing in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge St. Dundalk (A91 PV07) today Wednesday between 6pm & 8pm and again on Thursday between 2pm & 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30 walking to St. Nicholas Church arriving for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass thereafter to St. Patricks Cemetery for Burial.

Kathleen and family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kitty’s care givers Irish Home Care, The Palliative Team, Doctors, and neighbours they could not have done without you all.

So after nearly 2 years we bid farewell to Emma, she has been an excellent addition to the team and I want to thank her for everything she has done since joining us, she has decided to take a break from the industry so get in and get one of those skinners before she’s finished up on Saturday evening 👌🏻
