WILD VIOLETS - the amazing little flowers, so small but so powerful! 💜

Made a beautiful purple soap infused with Violets & Daisies recently. Waiting for the Sun to come to my window so I can take a picture and show it to you.

So far I have been using Violets in my Mineral Bath Soaks, this is the first time I made a soap.

BENEFITS FOR THE SKIN

Wild violets (Viola species) provide incredible benefits for the skin, acting as a cooling, moistening agent that deeply hydrates dry tissue, clears acne via natural salicylic acid, and calms chronic irritation.

Unlike daisy extract which primarily focuses on hyperpigmentation, wild violets excel at restoring moisture and soothing red, hot, or inflamed skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

DANDELION HONEY HANDMADE SOAP 🍯 - today I am reviling what it looks like!

Probably the only soap in the country made with Dandelion honey and Dandelion puffballs. You can clearly see the white Dandelion parachutes and the brown seeds. The Bergamot and Sweet Orange essential oils reminisce a distant scent of Dandelion honey.

This is the first batch, so if you have any suggestions, what could I make it differently, please share with us.

BENEFITS
Dandelion honey soap primarily benefits dry, sensitive, inflamed, and acne-prone skin. By combining the nutrient-dense properties of dandelions with the natural moisturising power of honey, this specialty soap provides targeted relief for several specific skin profiles.

Dry and Dehydrated Skin
Moisture retention: Honey acts as a natural humectant, drawing moisture from the surrounding air directly into the skin to prevent the tight, stripped feeling common after washing.
Barrier support: Dandelion-infused oils deliver essential fatty acids and vitamins (A, C, and D) that deeply hydrate and soften rough, flaky patches.

Sensitive and Inflamed Skin
Calming irritation: Dandelions possess strong anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe redness and swelling.
Symptom relief: This soap is highly recommended for people managing persistent, uncomfortable skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.

Acne-Prone and Oily Skin
Pore cleansing: Honey contains natural antibacterial and antimicrobial enzymes that safely cleanse the skin and reduce breakout-causing bacteria.
Blemish reduction: The antiseptic qualities of dandelion assist in clearing out clogged pores and calming active, angry cystic acne blemishes without stripping the skin’s natural protective oils.

Mature or Sun-Damaged Skin
Antioxidant defence: Both dandelion and honey are rich in antioxidants—such as polyphenols and Vitamin C—which neutralise free radicals caused by pollution and UV exposure.
Skin evening: Regular use helps stimulate collagen production, minimise the appearance of fine lines, and gently fade dark spots or hyperpigmentation for a brighter complexion.

The plantain is often dismissed as a common backyard w**d, but it actually, provides powerful medicinal and restorative properties for your hair and scalp. This leafy green herb is naturally packed with mucilage, tannins, and allantoin, making it a highly effective botanical remedy.

Hair Benefits:

Improves Detangling and Slip: The high mucilage content acts as a natural demulcent and humectant. It coats the hair shaft to smooth down the cuticle, making detangling seamless.

Softens and Enhances Shine: Simmering the leaves releases nutrients that mimic silicone-free hair conditioners, leaving strands light, silky, and naturally vibrant.

WILD IRISH MINT & NETTLE HANDMADE SOAP - the first picture shows it coloured with Spirulina and on the second picture is coloured with Chlorella.

Both spirulina and chlorella are nutrient-dense superfood algae, but they target different health goals. Spirulina is best for energy, protein, and antioxidant support. Chlorella is superior for daily detoxification, digestion, and heavy metal binding.

When making handmade soap, spirulina and chlorella serve as excellent natural green colorants and nutrient additives. Spirulina provides a vibrant, bluish-green hue that cures into a deep olive tone. Chlorella yields a true, earthy sage green. Both algae require careful handling because their natural pigments are prone to fading over time.
