Opening weekend at Winterval - the European City of Christmas & Ireland’s largest Christmas festival.

Look up! 👀 On Saturday 22 November at 7pm, the Waterford night sky will burst into colour as 150 illuminated drones perform a breathtaking, choreographed light show over the River Suir - a free event not to be missed.

✨ Get in early and make a day of it!
Wander the Winterval Christmas Markets, do some gift shopping, grab a festive bite, and soak up the music and atmosphere as the city comes alive for the opening weekend of Winterval '25.

Then, as the clock strikes seven, watch the magic unfold across the Waterford skyline.

☯️ Tai Chi and Qigong are ancient Chinese systems of movement using gentle, relaxing body movements for the promotion of health and wellbeing.
