How to look after your Spray Tan
- DO NOT shower for at least 8 hours (as this is the development time of the tan)
- Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 8 hours, as perspiration can inhibit the development of your tan.
- Apply moisturiser daily to maintain and prolong the life of your tan. This is an essential part of your aftercare if you want your tan to fade evenly and naturally.
- Pat your skin dry after your shower, try not to rub your skin too hard, as this has an exfoliating action and will wear your tan faster.
- After 3-4 days use a gentle exfoliant which will wear the tan off gradually and evenly. It gently removes the loose dead skin cells, but won’t remove the tan.
- Avoiding the use of long hot baths, showers, steam rooms or swimming will help to prolong the life of your tan.

Other precautions:
- Spray Tan does not contain any SPF and it is imperative you still use your regular sun cream when out in the sun.
- If you are prone to allergies or have sensitive skin please ask your therapist to do a patch test on you 48 hours prior to treatment.
- Don’t sit on light coloured leather or fabrics until you’ve showered, as the colour guide can cause discolouration. It will wash out of natural fibres.

Getting a tan for the bank holiday weekend! Bellamianta rapid tan-wash off in

How to prepare for your Spray Tanning Treatment:
Start exfoliating gently for a few days before. Ensure you pay attention to dry & rough areas such as hands, knees, elbows and feet. Rinse off residue well in the shower.
- Apply moisturiser all over the body concentrating on dry areas such as hands, knees, elbows and feet. This will prevent those tell tale darker areas.
The day of your Tanning Treatment
- Shower well before attending your treatment.
- DO NOT USE deodorant, anti-perspirant or moisturiser as it will inhibit the tan from working correctly.
- Wear loose fitting clothing. It is important to wear slip on shoes/sandals as boots/shoes/runners will definitely wear off the freshly applied tan.
- All hair removal treatments must be done 24 hours prior to Tanning treatment.
- Advisable to have polish on finger and toe nails, as tan can discolour natural nails.
