Lymphatic massage is a gentle, specialized massage that stimulates the lymphatic system to reduce swelling, promote detoxification, and support overall wellness.
What It Is
Lymphatic massage, also called manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), is a gentle form of massage designed to move lymph fluid through the body. The lymphatic system, part of the immune system, includes vessels, nodes, and organs that transport lymph—a clear fluid containing proteins, salts, glucose, and immune cells—throughout the body. When lymph flow is disrupted, fluid can accumulate in tissues, causing swelling, discomfort, or inflammation. Lymphatic massage helps redirect this fluid toward functioning lymph nodes and vessels, facilitating natural detoxification and reducing swelling.

How It Works
The massage uses light, precise strokes applied in slow, rhythmic motions over areas where lymph nodes are concentrated, such as the neck, armpits, groin, chest, and abdomen. The technique encourages lymph to move from congested areas to healthy lymphatic pathways, supporting immune function and fluid balance.
Unlike traditional massages, lymphatic massage is very gentle and requires specific training to be effective.

As and from the 1st of September we will be increasing our prices. This is due to the ever increasing to costs to products in the beauty industry. We have held off as long as we can but if we wish to continue, unfortunately we have to increase our prices.
Here at Finishing Touches we only use branded products as we believe that our clients deserve the best.
We don’t use cheap knockoff products that can lead to problems down the line.
We appreciate every single client that has come through our door over the past 16 years and we know sometimes we do make mistakes and get things wrong. We continue to upskill on treatments and improve what we can offer.
