If you're aching but don't want heavy pressure, hot stones is usually the one.
The stones are warmed first, then I use them through the massage so the heat softens the area before any deeper work is needed. You don't have to do anything special before you come in, and you can wear whatever is comfortable.
I'll ask about any sore spots before we start. If a stone feels too warm, or the pressure isn't right, just say it and I'll change it. You're covered with towels during the treatment, with only the area I'm working on uncovered.

By mid-afternoon your shoulders can be up around your ears.
Try a doorway stretch before you blame the neck. Stand in an open doorway and put one forearm on the frame, elbow about shoulder height. Step the same-side foot through a little until you feel a pull across the chest and the front of the shoulder.
Keep the shoulder down while you do it. Hold for five slow breaths, then change sides. It should feel like a stretch, not a pinch.
If it keeps pulling into the neck after that, text me on 085 158 6391.

Folded six towels while the room warmed back up.
Changed the couch paper, wiped down the face cradle and put the clean towels on the chair. I had about ten minutes before the next person was due in.
There was half a cup of tea sitting out in the kitchen from before the last treatment. Still drank it.
Then back in to check the room was warm enough again.

Most morning neck pain I see comes down to the pillow.
Lie on your side the way you actually sleep and get someone to look at you from behind. Your head should sit level with your spine — not tipped up towards the ceiling, not sagging down towards your shoulder. If there's a gap under your neck, the pillow's too flat, and you've been holding that angle for seven hours a night.
Fold a hand towel under it and give it a week. The stiffness usually eases before the week's out.
If it doesn't, give me a shout and I'll have a look at those shoulders.

That stab of pain in your heel first thing in the morning usually starts in your calf.
Your foot points down under the duvet all night, so the calf shortens — and that first step out of bed yanks on the sole of your foot.
Before your feet hit the floor tomorrow, point and flex the ankle twenty times, slowly. Then sit on the edge of the bed and thumb your way up the back of the calf for a minute. The ropey sore bits are the ones doing it.
Most people notice a difference inside a week. If the calf's still like a board after that, bring it in to me.

Saturday morning still has space if you want it.
It's the quietest part of the week here — no phone going, nobody waiting, just the heat on and the door shut. Most people book it for the shoulders and end up half asleep by the end of it.
Text 085 158 6391 before it's gone.

The round marks are the bit everyone asks about before they book.
They're not bruises. They come up because the cup pulls the blood towards the surface, and they fade out over a few days.
You'll be face down under a towel with just your back uncovered. I warm the oil and work the muscle by hand first, then the cups go on — some sit still, some I glide along the tight bits. It's a pull, not a pinch. If one's too strong, say it and I'll ease it off. Nothing to bring, nothing to prepare.
Phone or text 085 158 6391 and I'll talk you through it.
